Mum to one outstanding human being and one gorgeous fur baby. Lover of board games (she claims the Monopoly crown), the theatre and nice restaurants. Can’t drive, won’t drive but is partial to a cycle.

Dislikes alarms, bills and laundry. Thinks Sundays are the best days of the week because you get 7 extra hours and wishes every day could be a blue sky kind of day.

Ready to find out more?

What three words would your best friend use to describe you?

Nobody can answer that quite like my best friend and she said, “strong, patient and competitive”. – I’ll take it!

What’s on your iPod/playing in your car these days?

I own neither an iPod or a car however, I am LOVING a bit of Barns Courtney lately! The favourite part of my day is jumping in the shower and cranking the volume up whilst I belt out a few of my favourite songs.

I’m not sure my neighbours would agree to be fair…

Who’s your favourite James Bond actor?

Daniel Craig is legitimately the only one I could name. Just as well he’s the best!

Your house is on fire, what one item do you save?

It probably doesn’t paint me in a good light, but it would absolutely be my phone. It contains everything I need to keep calm and carry on!

Last meal on earth?

Keep it simple…

Duck breast with gratin dauphinois, passionfruit jus, chantenay carrots and green beans. Get in my belly!

Dream dinner party guests?

Dead or alive? How big is the table? Here goes…

Ronan Keating (obviously!) because life goals. Rachel Hollis because she inspires me. Kevin Bridges because he makes me laugh. Tom Hanks because I want to hear his stories.  My Great Grandad who I never got to meet but am certain I’d have adored. Stacey Solomon because she makes me smile. Dolly Alderton because I think we’d be great pals and last but not least, Rachel McAdams because I think she’s the most underrated actress of our time and I love her a little bit.

First thing you’d do if you won £1million?

Phone my Mother.

Quiet night in or big night out?

Quiet nights in please. I forget what it feels like to be alive after 10pm.

City break or weekend in the country?

Depends on the company. With the girls, a city break for sure. With family, a weekend in the country enjoying the fresh air and letting the dog roam free sounds delightful.

Early bird or night owl?

Early bird. I get more done in a morning before the world wakes up that I do for the rest of the day.

Save it or spend it?

I’d love to say save it but that is a level of discipline I just haven’t reached yet! Spend it. All of it. Then question where it has been spent and subsequently wonder if it was worth it before undoubtedly concluding that yes, it was!

Couch potato or fitness fanatic?

I’m a potato.

If you didn’t say that in a funny voice in your head, we can’t be friends.

Home or abroad?

I’m a home bird. Holidays are great but there’s no feeling quite like coming home.

Early or late?

Early. Being late makes me anxious.

Cats or dogs?

Dogs. All the dogs!

Happiest memory?

My happiest memories all involve my Son and our adventures together or my girls. Yes, I am that person.

And most embarrassing?

Every morning after the night before when realisation starts to hit and mortification sets in and  you’re too scared to look at your phone to learn exactly how many ways you made a fool of yourself and wondering if you have any friends left whilst repeatedly questioning why you do this to yourself.

Biggest regret?

Eating the cheese before bed.

What are you proudest of?

There are lots of people in my life that I am proud of by most importantly, I am proud of the woman I have become.

For the way I raise my son, the daughter and friend that I am, the way I get through the hardest times, for the way I face my challenges head on, for the decisions I’ve made even when it’s not easy and for the opportunities I have had the sense to grab with both hands.

For the future I am creating.

Who do you admire most?

People trying to achieve their dreams.

And who do you detest?

People who are cruel to others and animals.

Who would you like to thank?

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my agent…. In all seriousness, I am thankful to absolutely everybody who has touched our lives and made the journey what it is so far.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don’t get so caught up in what you think others might think about you.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?

Raise my Son to be a considerate young man however, it is equally the most rewarding.

Hardest thing you’ve had to give up?

Pepsi Max.

Could you save someone’s life if they were dying in the street?

Depends what they were dying from. I’ve certainly watched enough House and Grey’s Anatomy to take on minor emergency surgery.

What keeps you awake at night?

House and Grey’s Anatomy. Keep up.

And your biggest critic?

Without a doubt myself. Sometimes my Mother.

Mobile phone ringtone?

Ring Ring.
