Women network differently and that’s exactly what PBN offers – Jane Rennie www.weareextraordinary.co.uk

With its inspirational speakers, great events and welcoming atmosphere, it’s no secret that Perthshire Busineswoman’s Network (PBN) is a great way to promote your business and meet other like-minded female business professionals. But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what PBN Chair Jane Rennie, Founder of The Extraordinary Training Company www.weareextraordinary.co.uk has to say about the benefits …

Why did I join PBN? With so many options in the area, it’s a good question. Some of you will have heard me say this before but having lived and worked overseas for most of my life, I have witnessed first-hand the power of a really great women’s business network so when we moved to Perth from Dubai (via Bangkok!) I was determined to find a local group. It’s not about being a feminist, or overtly promoting women; the fact is that we women network differently and that’s exactly what PBN offers.

I love the variety of what’s on offer: from the breakfast networking where I get the opportunity to chat to everyone, through to the Striving for Excellence series where I’ve heard some amazingly inspirational speakers.

Whatever the event, I come away feeling supported, motivated and inspired. Running my own business can feel lonely at times, especially as I am still fairly new to the country, let alone the Perth area.

I suppose the testament to it all is that after just six months of membership, I took over as Chair of the Committee, which I love. I feel part of a team; a team of amazing women all working together.

The bonus is that I’ve also had business from it, so it’s ticked all the boxes a great networking group should do!
