Q What three words would your best friend use to describe you?
A Persistent, early riser (she was never up when I called in the morning) and fun.
Q What’s on your iPod/playing in your car these days?
A I have a playlist that I’ve entitled VaVaVoom which has some upbeat songs to keep my energy up like Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and Taylor Swift’s “Look what you made me do”.
Q Who’s your favourite James Bond actor?
A Pierce Brosnan, by a country mil.
Q Your house is on fire, what one item do you save?
A My two dogs, Toby and Molly.
Q Last meal on earth?
Q Dream dinner party guests?
A Queen Elizabeth I, Jane Austen, John Harvey Jones, Madonna.
Q First thing you’d do if you won £1million?
A Pay off the mortgage.
Q Quiet night in or big night out?
A Definitely quiet night in. I’m much happier in pajamas than high heels.
Q City break or weekend in the country?
A Depends what kind of week I’ve had.
Q Early bird or night owl?
A Early bird. A very, very early bird. Except in winter when I behave like a hibernating bear.
Q Save it or spend it?
A Spend it. Life is way too short.
Q Couch potato or fitness fanatic?
A Admittedly a coach potato at heart.
Q Home or abroad?
A Hmmmmm. I’ve lived abroad so it would be just as easy to pick that as home. Both.
Q Early or late?
A Bang. On. Time. I hate waiting.
Q Cats or dogs?
A Dogs. They have the best attitude in the world. Every day is a new adventure.
Q Happiest memory?
A My wedding day. My jaw ached the day after from smiling.
Q And most embarrassing?
A Haha! So many to choose from…. how about that time I tipped a tray of drinks all over myself in a crowded restaurant on a Saturday night to avoid tipping it over a customer who wasn’t looking where they were going? That generated a round of applause and I have to finish my shift covered head to toe in a curdling combination of milk and fresh orange.
Q Biggest regret?
A No regrets, everything in life is a learning opportunity of one kind or another.
Q What are you proudest of?
A Starting again after losing it all. What’s the worse that can happen?
Q Who do you admire most?
A People who seem to have super human powers and the ability to get loads done in the same 24 hours that the rest of us have.
Q And who do you detest?
A Anyone petty. Pettiness should be made a crime. Biggest cause of unnecessary conflict.
Q Who would you like to thank?
A My husband for putting up with me. I sense I might be a bit demanding.
Q What advice would you give to your younger self?
A Start earlier.
Q What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?
A Resign from a business that I founded.
Q Hardest thing you’ve had to give up?

Q Could you save someone’s life if they were dying in the street?
A Yes. First aid skills are an important life skill. They’ve come in useful over the years but strangely I’ve also used them to save my dog.
Q What keeps you awake at night?
A Nothing much, the minute my head hits the pillow I’m out like a light.
Q And your biggest critic?
A My mother.
Q Mobile phone ringtone?
A Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling”
