Improve your listening and communication skills with help from the experts at Rowan Consultancy.

The highly-regarded Fair City-based training company is running Module 1 of the COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate in Perth starting this August and again in October.

The course involves practical and enjoyable exercises and is delivered by qualified, practising counsellors, who are also COSCA accredited trainers.

Rowan is validated by COSCA to deliver all four modules of the certificate which is credit rated by Edinburgh Napier University.

And completion of the COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate carries 40 credits at SCQF Level 8.

Explained PBN member Rachel Weiss, senior partner at Rowan: “Within an organisation, these skills can greatly enhance the working environment and promote better communication – essential for success. Participants also come to improve communication in their personal life so that they can better support their family and friends. We’re delighted that students say they’ve found the course life-changing, in increasing their self-awareness, helping them make decision and improving their relationships.”

Delegates will be introduced to many useful skills, including:

• Supporting others by developing practical listening skills.

• Increasing your self-awareness.

• Communicating more clearly with others.

Added Rachel: “This certificate can improve your listening and communication skills, and help you to find out more about others and yourself. The full certificate consists of 4 x 30 hour modules. Although you can attend Module One as a standalone course, successful completion of all four modules will result in a certificate being issued by COSCA.”

The fees for each module of the certificate are £390 (£325 + VAT) for self-funded individuals and £450 + VAT for organisations.
