It’s summertime, and in association with Dundee Women Ahead, we’re offering a networking lunch on Thursday 28th July 2016 with:

  • A visit to Glendoick Garden Centre
  • The opportunity to hear from Ali McGill of Ashton McGill about how to increase customer loyalty and win more business
  • Insight from Kevin Anderson of The-Story Edge who’ll be demonstrating the power of story-telling in business.

The Venue

The Conservatory – Glendoick Garden Centre, Glendoick, Glencarse, Perth PH2 7NS

Glendoick Gardens Rhododendron Specialist Nursery was founded in 1953 by Peter and Euan Cox. Glendoick is now run by 3rd Generation Kenneth Cox and Jane Cox. Glendoick Garden Centre opened in 1973 with the now famous Glendoick Cafe in 1993 and the Food Hall in 2003.

Glendoick is world famous for Rhododendrons & Azaleas.

Peter & Kenneth Cox have written 20 books on rhododendrons, plant hunting & Scottish gardening, raised over 50 new hybrid rhododendrons & azaleas and introduced many species from their plant hunting expeditions.

Glendoick is Scotland’s centre for gardening and plant expertise.

Glendoick will be providing refreshments and a delicious buffet lunch.

Ali is Founder of Ashton McGill and works with clients across the UK to help them create better, more soulful, organisations. He is also Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Dundee and a Board Member at Scottish Cycling.

Kevin Anderson of The-Story Edge

Kevin Anderson is Storyteller and Coach at The Story Edge.  He helps organisations uncover the stories that make them truly unique. He’s a teacher of storytelling and a writer of story driven content. He’s a firm believer that storytelling is the key to growing successful organisations.
