Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance

Scotland’s Air Ambulance Chosen as PBN Charity

PBN members have voted overwhelmingly in support of Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance as our nominated charity. Since its launch, the distinctive yellow, green and blue helicopter has become a familiar sight in the skies above Perthshire. From their base at Perth Airport the charity is well positioned geographically to reach 90% of Scotland’s population within 25 minutes.

Sara Wood, PBN Chairperson commented: “I am delighted that PBN members have chosen to support this local Perthshire based charity. Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance receives no statutory funding and relies 100% on donations. Funds raised by PBN will help ensure that they can continue to provide help in time-critical emergencies.”

Sally Cameron, Head of Fundraising at SCAA added: “Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) is so pleased to have been chosen as PBN’s charity of the year. To have the PBN’s support over this coming year will help SCAA to not only raise much needed funds for our life saving service, but will also raise awareness of the difference our air ambulance is making to Scotland’s most remote and rural communities by getting medical help to casualties quickly.”
