It has been an incredibly busy and exciting time for serial entrepreneur and marketer, Tricia Fox. As the founder and managing director of Volpa, an award-winning integrated communications agency based in Perth, Tricia has started 2015 as she means to go on by announcing that, for the seventh year in a row, Volpa will be included in the national Recommended Agency Register (RAR) placing it amongst the UK’s top marketing services suppliers, as rated and endorsed by their own clients.
“Since I opened the doors to Volpa almost thirteen years ago, I can honestly say I did not have in mind that I would be running one of the UK’s top marketing agencies in just a short space of time – I was just genuinely looking for the opportunity to do what I love, and earn a living from it. It’s been a rollercoaster ride throughout those years, but I wouldn’t change a minute of it for anything.”
This latest accolade comes after a period of dramatic growth for Volpa in the last 18 months, extending their client base and subsequently augmenting their team and widening the range of skills and services available to clients.
Tricia’s team are now overseeing the marketing activities for some of the area’s most high profile brands including The Enchanted Forest, The Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret Distillery, Wilde Thyme and The Inveralmond Brewery.
Tricia puts the business’s success down to tenacity, hard work and building strong relationships, as well as building knowledge, something she and her team have embraced.
“We learn a great deal from working with such varied range of clients and, as our services extend, the team have taken the opportunity to learn new skills to meet the challenges that come with broadening the business remit. For example, social media has become a marketing tool used by many of our clients and, as a result, four members of Team Volpa are now Hootsuite qualified to cater for the growing demand for this client service.”
2014 marked a momentum shift for the business. “After several years of steady business growth, Volpa really hit a tipping point last year winning several exciting new contracts and, as a result, we’ve been in a position to expand the team and really extend our offering. We now have an in-house graphic designer which has enabled us to be fully integrated offering three tiers of services: publicity, creative and digital.”
Barely drawing breath, Tricia is already looking at how Volpa can continue on its upward journey.
“I am very proud of Volpa’s accomplishments, but the focus is now to continue to grow and expand both geographically and sectorally. We already work with such a diverse and stimulating mix of clients and I know we can deliver exceptional value as well as a market leading service to customers who are interested in expanding their businesses too.”
“The office is buzzing at the moment. Team Volpa is delighted have been RAR Recommended for the seventh year. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with all of our clients and this news is testimony to our commitment to providing a quality marketing service for companies, both locally and nationally.”
