Our February lunch time meeting welcomes last year’s PBN chairperson, Nicki Martin of The Red String Agency, as our guest speaker.

Nicki will be talking about taking her idea for a local online magazine, Small City, Big Personality, from conception to fruition.  www.smallcitybigpersonality.co.uk was launched on July 1st 2014 and it was anticipated that it would to build steadily over a 6 month period, allowing her to start looking at the business opportunity in the New Year. By September it had reached 35,000 monthly page views and had over 12,000 regular unique visitors. People started to email and ask about advertising on the site – she hadn’t even written the pack!

The speed and scale was of course, welcome news but it was also entirely unexpected! Nicki’s talk is going to outline the passion behind #SCBP, how she planned it, how she rolled with the changes and what 2015 is going to bring.  This will be a lively talk that will include some pointers for your own inbound marketing, some insights into working off plan and a few funny little anecdotes about the journey from 0 – 35,000!
