Lorna works for Interface – The Knowledge Connection for business as the Rural Project Executive covering Perthshire and Grampian and has met lots of innovative businesses with great ideas.
Lorna helps businesses find the right University to work on business projects e.g feasibility studies, app development, branding and marketing. Lorna is a graduate of Heriot Watt University achieving a BA in Business Management, her previous role was Business Adviser with Business Gateway where she assisted Start Up and Existing businesses to grow and develop.
Working with a variety of sectors Lorna provided 1-2-1 advice on all aspects of business from cashflow management, research and development opportunities, funding applications and social networking to market the business. Lorna organised and facilitated the Women Into Business Networking Programme and managed the Business Information Centre carrying out market research to allow companies to innovate to expand their businesses. In her spare time Lorna volunteers for Princes Trust Youth Business Scotland, helping young people under the age of 30 years develop their businesses.
